Civil Engineering Company (CEC) has been headquartered in Amman since the day it was founded in 1977. Jabal Al-Hussein — one of Amman's established commercial and residential districts — has been home to CEC's head office for nearly five decades. From this base, our engineering and commercial teams have managed the design, procurement, and delivery of some of Jordan's capital's most significant construction works.
Amman is a remarkable construction environment. The city's dramatic topography — built across 19 named hills, with elevation differences of over 1,000 metres within the Greater Amman area — creates engineering challenges that are simply not present in flat-terrain cities. Every major road project requires bridges, tunnels, or significant retaining structures. Every large building site requires careful geotechnical assessment of Amman's varied limestone geology.
